【摘要】:1.1Thisguidecoversthecategoryofwater-analysisdiagramsthatusepictorialorpatternmethods(forexample,bar,radiatingvectors,pattern,andcircular)asabasisfordisplayingeachoftheindividualchemicalcomponentsthatweredeterminedfromtheanalysisofasinglesampleofnaturalgroundwater(seeTerminology).1.2Thisguideonsingle-analysisdiagramsisthesecondofseveralstandardstoinformtheprofessionalsinthefieldofhydrologywiththetraditionalgraphicalmethodsavailabletodisplayground-waterchemistry.Note18212;Theinitialguidedescribedthecategoryofwater-analysisdiagramsthatusetwo-dimensionaltrilineargraphstodisplay,onasinglediagram,thecommonchemicalcomponentsfromtwoormorecompleteanalysesofnaturalgroundwater.1.2.1Athirdguidewillbefordiagramsbasedondataanalyticalcalculationsthatincludethosecategoriesofwateranalysisgraphswheremultipleanalysesareanalyzedstatisticallyandtheresultsplottedonadiagram(forexample,thebox,andsoforth).1.3Numerousmethodshavebeendevelopedtodisplay,onsingle-analysesdiagrams,theionsdissolvedinwater.Thesemethodsweredevelopedbyinvestigatorstoassistintheinterpretationoftheoriginoftheionsinthewaterandtosimplifythecomparisonofanalyses,onewithanother.1.4Thisguidepresentsacompilationofdiagramsfromanumberofauthorsthatallowsfortransformationofnumericaldataintovisual,usableforms.Itisnotaguidetoselectionoruse.Thatchoiceisprogramorprojectspecific.Note28212;UseoftradenamesinthisguideisforidentificationpurposesonlyanddoesnotconstituteendorsementbyASTM.1.5Thisguideoffersanorganizedcollectionofinformationoraseriesofoptionsanddoesnotrecommendaspecificcourseofaction.Thisdocumentcannotreplaceeducationorexperienceandshouldbeusedinconjunctionwithprofessionaljudgment.Notallaspectsofthisguidemaybeapplicableinallcircumstances.ThisASTMstandardisnotintendedtorepresentorreplacethestandardofcarebywhichtheadequacyofagivenprofessionalservicemustbejudged,norshouldthisdocumentbeappliedwithoutconsiderationofaproject''smanyuniqueaspects.Theword"Standard"inthetitleofthisdocumentmeansonlythatthedocumenthasbeenapprovedthroughtheASTMconsensusprocess.
