【摘要】:Waterpermeabilityisafundamentalphysicalpropertythatcanbeusedinconjunctionwithotherpropertiestocharacterizehoneycombsandwichcorematerials.Migrationtestingcanbeusedtocharacterizeandcomparetherelativepermeabilityofhoneycombcorematerialstowater.Thistestmethodprovidesastandardmethodofcharacterizingtherateofwatermigrationwithinhoneycombsandwichcorematerialsfordesignproperties,materialspecifications,researchanddevelopmentapplications,andqualityassurance.Factorsthatinfluencewatermigrationratecharacteristicsofhoneycombsandwichcorematerialsandshallthereforebereportedincludethefollowing:corematerial,methodsofmaterialfabrication,coregeometry(cellsize),corethickness,corethicknessuniformity,cellwallthickness,specimengeometry,specimenpreparation,specimenconditioning,facingmaterial,facingpermeability,adhesivepermeability,adhesivethickness,andmethodsofmass,volume,andwatercolumnheightmeasurement.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofwatermigrationinhoneycombcorematerials.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthetexttheinch-poundunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
