【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversthecreationofasetofguidingprinciplestobeusedwhenestablishingaformaltraininganddevelopmentprogramforprofessionalemployeesengagedinthepracticeofpropertymanagement.1.2ThispracticesetsforththeconsensusofthepersonalpropertymanagementprofessionwithregardtotherequirementsforaPersonalPropertyCareerDevelopment(PPCD)program.1.3Theacceptanceofthispracticebytheprofessionhasthepotentialtoencourageabroaderandhigherlevelofthinkingbyitspractitioners,reinforcetheuseofinnovativeandcost-effectivepractices,creategreatercommonalitybetweengovernmentandindustrypractices,andincreasetheabilityoforganizationstorespondtochangingneedsandbusinessconditions.1.4ThePPCDprogramestablishestherecommendededucation,training,andexperiencerequisitesnecessaryforpropertymanagementorganizationstoadequatelysupportthemissionsandobjectivesoforganizationsoperatinginorencouragingdomesticandglobalcommerce.1.5ThePPCDprogramispredicatedonthreelevelsofprofessionalcertificationbasedonacombinationofacademiccourseworkandprofessionalexperience.1.6Thestandardiswrittentorecognizethattherearenumerouseducationalprovidersofcoursesthatmaysatisfythecareerdevelopmentobjectivesarticulatedunderthisstandard.Itistheresponsibilityofeachorganizationwhichadoptsthisstandardtoconfirmtheappropriatenessofanyspecificcourseoffering.
