【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardgivesgoodpracticerecommendationsforthedemolition(bothfullandpartial)offacilities,includingbuildingsandstructures.Thestandardisthereforeapplicabletodemolitionactivitiesundertakenaspartofstructuralrefurbishment.Italsocoversdecommissioning.Inparticular,thestandardgivesrecommendationsfor:Theproperandeffectivemanagementofdemolitionprocesses,includingthoseformingpartofstructuralrefurbishment;Maintainingstructuralstability,includingthroughtheprovisionoftemporarystructuralsupport,wherenecessary;Managingdeliberatestructuralcollapse;Identifyingandestablishingresponsibilitiesduringallphasesofthedemolitionprocesses;Acquiringaknowledgeofthesite,includingitsformerusesManagingenvironmentalissues;Managinghealthandsafetyhazards;Carryingoutriskassessmentsandplanningtheworkaccordingly;Establishingandmanagingprocedureseffectively;Determiningandmanagingsafeexclusionzones.Thestandardtakesintoaccountsafety,healthandissuesthataffecttheprotectionoftheenvironment.Itisessentialthatthosecarryingoutdemolitionactivitiespossessthenecessarylevelsofcompetence.Clientsorprocurersofdemolitionworksneedtoensurethatallcontractors,designersandotherteammembersthattheyproposetoengageorappointarecompetenttocomplywiththehealthandsafetyrequirementsnecessarytoundertakedemolitionactivities.Guidanceisgivenonthetrainingandcompetencerequiredfortheactivitiescoveredbythisstandard.
