【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardgivesguidanceinthesafeuseofrollingstockcablesspecifiedinEN50264andEN50306.NOTEEN50355willbeextendedinfuturetocoveralsoEN50382,whichiscurrentlyunderpreparation.ThesecablesshouldonlybeusedforthewiringofrailwayrollingstockandwithinthelimitsgiveninthemannerdescribedinthisEuropeanStandard.Allthesecablesareforfixedinstallationwherethereisnofreemovementofcable,exceptforstressesduetotypicalservice.ThisEuropeanStandardistobeappliedinconjunctionwiththerelevantproductandinstallationstandards.Stricterrequirementsthanthosegiveninthisstandardcouldbenecessary;seeinparticularEN50343.ThisEuropeanStandardisnotapplicableto-intercarriagejumpers,-cablessubjecttocontinualflexing,-pantographcables,-coaxialandfibreopticcables,-wirewrap,-cablesratedatvoltagesgreaterthan3,6/6kV,-nationaltypes,-applicationsotherthanthecablingofrailwayrollingstock.Legalorstatutoryrequirementsdotakeprecedenceovertheguidancegiveninthisdocument.Incaseswherenoguidanceexistsorwhereitcannotbederivedfromgeneralinformation,itisrecommendedthatadviceshouldbesoughtfromthecablemanufacturer.
