【摘要】:1.1Thisconsumersafetyspecificationestablishessafetyperformancerequirements,testmethods,andlabelingrequirementstominimizethehazardstochildrenpresentedbycarriagesandstrollersasidentifiedintheintroduction.Childrenx2019;sproductssuchastricycles,bicyclesorothersimilarwheeledproductsthatcanbeself-propelledbyachildarenotconsideredcarriagesorstrollerssubjecttotherequirementsofthisstandard,eveniftheitemhasatemporaryorpermanenthandle.1.2Nocarriageorstrollerproducedaftertheapprovaldateofthisconsumersafetyperformancespecificationshall,eitherbylabelorothermeans,indicatecompliancewiththisspecificationunlessitconformstoallrequirementsherein.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section7,ofthisconsumersafetyspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
